This is the Sonoran Desert at its best! Students will love the looking for all the
wildlife and plants native to our great American deserts of the Southwest!
They'll see interesting animals like Javelina and pronghorn antelope, reptiles
like various kinds of snakes and lizards, birds like owls, hawks and hummingbirds
as well as a variety of cactus and flowers. There is a place on the front for their
name. Inside are two pockets to hold paperwork, an old miner pencil holder, the
"Gold Mine" reward system for placing gold stars (not included) and a
"My Goals" section on the saddlebag of an old burro. Students are welcome
to write on the dry-erase friendly cubby. This would be a great addition to any
desert study program, and could be used year after year. Cubby is 12" high x 26"
wide when opened flat. It's 12" high x 9" wide when completely folded and
approximately 21" wide when standing up (perfect for student desktops.)
